Glowing Elephants is a very young band from Cologne\/Germany. They have now their debut album released.
\n
\nThe sound of the album is very spacey and funky. It somehow reminds of The Beatles, Yellow Submarine and the 50s. The songs are getting stuck in your head and make you sway along at least.<\/p>\n

Listening to this album you feel transported back in time and sent back as it gets closer to the end. A suitable album for dance floors because the rhythms and melodies are catchy and good for not only 50s dance moves. Yet you can find a nice balance between dance songs and slower songs. An interesting album with a sound you can\u2019t find that often at the moment. In between you can hear some funny noises or counting in German. The songs are easy to sing along.<\/p>\n

The CD looks like vinyl and the booklet is covered by something that\u2019s probably supposed to be a cream pie, at least it looks quite nasty. The booklet style reminds of 80s or early 90s and is quite simple. Red and yellow dominate the whole album layout.<\/p>\n\n\n
