Italian progressive metal band Last Warning suddenly released a new album, after 8 years of silence. \u201cThroughout Time\u201d it is called, released via My Kingdom Music.
\n
\nThe Italians have been together since 1987. The band did not have too much line up chances through the years, but the ones they had were major. They changed vocalist and drummer. Fabio Del Sal is now their singer and the drums get bashed by Ivan Moni Bidin.
\nProgressive Metal knows a view names which are often heard. Dream Theater, Queensryche etc. They are also points of reference for Last Warning.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout Time\u201d starts of on such a stereotypical way that I could not resist thinking if I would ever remember the name of the band by hearing the song.
\nNever judge at the first song before having heard the whole album is what they learnt me. Second song \u201cSecret\u201d is a little more unique and now I start to get the direction the band takes. The more emotional song \u201cIt Slowly Dries My Tears\u201d sets forth the chosen path. The album closes with \u201cCry Out\u201d which I personally never would have chosen as closer although the title leads you there. The nine minute lasting \u201cIn The Flood\u201d brings me in such a mood that I felt that the album was over, the chapter closed while curtains could have fallen down. The last song is to me nothing but a unnecessarily encore.
\nLast Warning sometimes flirt a bit with the heavy metal sounds like the Finnish band Leverage is making them. Interesting approach, never overdone, which is suits them perfectly.<\/p>\n

Although the start was not the most kicking ever, I appreciate the album. The band showed their unique side where other bands easily get too much influenced by the main names.<\/p>\n
