The Finnish Goth rock band Saralee released their second full length album \u201cDamnation to Salvation\u201d.
\n
\nAfter their first years having played under the name \u201cRestless\u201d the band changed their name to Saralee. Their music, mainly a big hit under fans of bands like HIM, The Rasmus and The 69 Eyes, was typical teddy bear-goth-rock. Their first full length \u201cDarkness Between\u201d was released in July 2006.<\/p>\n

In the new release you can expect a bit more independency. The band stepped away from their sounds-likes and created their own sound, which is maybe a bit harder than what has been heard on previous releases. In their upcoming live shows, this will probably be noticeable as well, since their keyboard player Arzka (The Myth of Autumn) plays guitar now. Their new sounds is not a completely strange concept though. Saralee stays Saralee, but you get a bit more fire now. Some growls added every now and then spices it all up.<\/p>\n

Lyrically, the band evolved a lot as well. Instead of the slightly clich\u00e9 sentences the band certainly goes a bit more complex here. The album sounds like a complete story and Saralee showed the world that they survived those teenage years and are a grown up band with a grown up sound now.<\/p>\n
