In semifinal, which is a little brother\u00a0from Helsinki\u2019s most famous venue Tavastia. When Hollow started of with\u00a0a long electronic part, I was really pleased. Sounded quite ok. Too bad that\u00a0after this intro, the keys became so less dominating in the music, that at some\u00a0point I was thinking this was just a guitar\/bass\/drum\/vocals band.<br \/>\nIt was clear\u00a0that most people thought the same since, they all came back to the corners of\u00a0the venue to have a drink instead of keep on\u00a0watching. It\u2019s not that the\u00a0music is not good, it\u2019s more that they just don\u2019t know how to keep\u00a0\u00a0 peoples attention. If Hollow heart has some time to grow, it will be a nice\u00a0band to see, but tonight I was not completely satisfied.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19479 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tempelores.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/IMG_7484bk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tempelores.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/IMG_7484bk.jpg 500w, https:\/\/tempelores.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/IMG_7484bk-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Most people came to see Megaphone. This glam rock band brings the good atmosphere\u00a0back in Semifinal. If you check Megaphone&#8217;s website, you will find the following lines:&#8221;What would happen if Madonna\u00a0and Mick Jagger had a four-headed love-child?<br \/>\nMegaphone is what you\u00b4d get! &#8221; This sentence gives you a short indication of what a Megaphone gig brings.<\/p>\n<p>With band members, who are playing games with each other\u00a0they really entertain the audience on such a way that not only the ears are\u00a0satisfied.<br \/>\nVocalist Bjarki Kaikumo is wearing a black shirt with strings hanging\u00a0down from his arms. It makes him look like the mighty eagle. He tells people\u00a0to sing along: People sing along. He tells people to clap the rhythm: The people\u00a0clap the rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>It is so obviously clear that this band is having a great time\u00a0at the stage, that it makes me happy as well. As final song they play their\u00a0first single \u201cToyboy\u201d which results in a semifinal filled with dancing\u00a0people.Yes baby, this band rocks. Glam is alive! Every time I think back at\u00a0this gig, I remember those huge smiles on the artists faces.
