\nFirst band was called Rockmasters. For a band who calls themselves rock masters I was pretty much disappointed. Raw rock vocals, pretty easy rhythms, not too original riffs later we were done by them. Been there, done that. I did not like them at all because they were not original at all. I see more originality in a high school cover band than in this band called Rockmasters. They seemed convinced of themselves though which made them even more dis-likable.<\/p>\n

Then, the band which released their new Ep \u201cNo Reward\u201d tonight: Danny Lips. We have seen them in Texas bar before<\/a>. For me personally it was almost exactly a year ago, so thrilled to see what the new EP would bring. Though the set was played with a bit loaded atmosphere as it seemed to me it was good to see Danny Lips again. Their music seems a bit rawer than I heard earlier and it seems like it turns out well. They played old n new songs and old songs in a new style which they had changed. They also played \u201cSay Something Cool\u201d for which they had shot a video last year. The audience liked them and clapped along.<\/p>\n

Last band tonight was Soulstab. A mix of grunge and garage on speed combined with a little bit of country. It\u2019s swinging, but maybe a bit too overdone. They did bring quite some people in there who watched the band carefully from a distance. After a while, the thrill of it was over and for me the set list lasted too long. The band was trying to entertain their audience well and seemed to be on stage with a smile that couldn\u2019t be taken off whether the world was dying. There were some people dancing around but most people just stood watching and drinking.<\/p>\n
