Year after the rock formation released full-length album, but in two years decided to back with only EP. The recently released <strong><em>Shatter &amp; Bloom<\/em><\/strong> is available on streaming platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">The content of the record includes four original tracks and cover for Nicki Minaj\u2019s \u201c<em>Starships<\/em>\u201d. As for me, it\u2019s painfully hard to find the optimal tone of voice for female crooning amongst motley creatures of post-rock genres. My luck, Nicol Hofman fits the best. Her versatile approach combines a passionate and melodic singing with dreadful growling highlights, showcasing an impressive range of vocal techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Back to the record. The listening begins with the song &#8220;<em>Shatter &amp; Bloom<\/em>&#8221; that alarms to wake up literally and figuratively. \u201c<em>Silence After Violence<\/em>\u201d employs minor key tonality and dissonant intervallic jumps to evoke despair and tension. \u201c<em>Monster<\/em>\u201d characterized by its aggressive blast beats that intensifies the track\u2019s ferocity. The whisper \u201cwatch me\u201d at the end of tune doubled creepy effect. The last mention \u201c<em>Starships<\/em>\u201d possibly created for the band, which makes aggressive connotation of original pretty much louder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\"><strong>Stellvris<\/strong> undoubtedly has the potential to create something greater, and this modest release seems premature.
