A band like OFERMOD <\/strong>needs no introduction. Steered by Mika Hakola (Belfagor) since 1996, the Swedish horde have sewn influence and infamy in equal measure. “Drakosophia” is Ofermod’s 5th full-length album, and features North American vocalist \u201cAdeptus\u201d, Austrian session drummer \u201cFlorian Musil\u201d, and bass by \u201cDevo\u201d (ex-Marduk<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
“Drakosophia” <\/strong>offers exactly what the dedicated fans of the genre and followers of the left hand philosophy are looking for. The classic orthodox black metal sound is strongly present and we also see the band taking this to next level with a more sinister sound. Surely and as expected, the left hand path & theistic satanism are at the core of this album; the more you immerse yourself in it, the more you will feel the cosmic energy embedded in “Drakosophia”.<\/strong> The second half of the album resonated with me a lot more personally; I could feel the dynamic and energizing power of “Drakosophia”<\/strong> much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Drakosophia” <\/strong>is sinister and dynamic, making it a fantastic black metal album that flows and offers a different kind of energy. Those seek this energy will definitely embrace this album differently and strongly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
