Another sold out show I attended. This time at Virgin Oil and this time Poets of the Fall. Poets of the Fall are a rock band from Helsinki, Finland that was founded by Marko and Olli in 2003.They have three albums released so far and all have been in the charts. The singles are played on the radio and the fan base has rapidly grown in the past couple years. And you could tell simply by being at Virgin Oil tonight. There was no getting through. It was totally crowded, everybody eagerly waiting for Poets of the Fall to enter the stage.

\nShortly after midnight they opened with the\u201dUltimate Fling\u201d and the audience went wild. It was a great atmosphere in the venue. Everybody cheered and sang along to the lyrics. Marko (singer) got quite close to the audience at times, played with them and sang to them. The band also talked with the crowd during the show. You could tell that the band felt blessed to have such a big audience and totally enjoyed performing. Totally happy and full of energy the guys gave everything on stage. The audience replied by cheering, dancing and singing along to each song as loud as they could. Everybody seemed to have a good time. It was getting warmer and warmer in Virgin Oil. The band played songs off each album. POTF is a band that I could go and see day after day without them being boring. They are just such a great live band. You are getting a really good mood when hearing the music and watching them perform. I can\u2019t really explain why, they just now how to captivate you and keep you locked up in their music. What a great show.<\/p>\n
