Copenhagen\u2019s Kind of Girl specialise in bass heavy synth-pop doused in the sweet addictive vocal melodies of lead singer Sissel. \u201cLonely in A Modern Way\u201d marks the debut album from a band bursting with ideas on combining rock, electro and atmospheric elements to write addictive and inspiring pop songs.

\nThe music is electronic rock, suitable for the radio and easy to sing and sway along to. The song \u201cIf You Say\u201d has some country elements, especially in the beginning. The album spreads a positive and happy feeling when listening to it. \u201cWatch In Wonder\u201d has this typical summer song feeling. \u201cPoetry Boy\u201d is a bit more melancholic than the rest of the album. .<\/p>\n

\u201cLonely in A Modern Way\u201d has somewhat sad and melancholic lyrics, but the sound is happy. So the album is not a melancholic dark album but more a colourful one with serious lyrics. Interesting to listen to.<\/p>\n\n\n
