Not being \u201cwheel of year\u201d adepts or ecologic activists, the band dropped proto-rock stuff titled \u201c<strong><em>The head &amp; the habit<\/em><\/strong>\u201d this June. Actually, this is the ninth record for the creature that started as side project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong><em>The head &amp; the habit<\/em><\/strong>\u201d contains eleven tracks. The length of songs variates from two to eleven minutes. Technically, there is no deviation of forming the record and composing the songs, although the genre are hardly recognized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>Breathe, Breathe Out<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>Avalanche<\/em>\u201d are promo tracks, which also filmed. The opener, perhaps, the most solid track represented bands mastery. The melody dives underneath as it\u2019s kind of the breathe practice. Plus, it\u2019s semi-odor of new British wave from the very early 2000s. The touch of psychedelic rock belongs to \u201c<em>Avalanche<\/em>\u201d. The stoner guitar solo and bass line also made this track worthy to know about. Despite of the title \u201c<em>The Sirens Sound\u201d<\/em>, the track sounds mild and peaceful. Additionally, this is meditating effect as remembering Moby\u2019s opuses. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After listening to \u201c<strong><em>The head &amp; the habit<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, I definitely add <strong>GREENLEAF <\/strong>to following list and \u201c<em>Breathe, Breathe Out<\/em>\u201d to top-10 songs of this year. This record is bright musically and thoughtful lyrically.
