KMFDM is a formation making Industrial music for many years. For decades they have been feeding their audience with their dance able tunes. This year they release the album \u201cLet Go\u201d which is their 23rd studio release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Now KMFDM has quite a discography and whenever a new one is out there are always several people of the crew interested to pick it up. This time I took the album myself as I recently been going through the older albums of the band again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the band presents us with a varied tracklist once again there are so many things to point out. Let’s start with a personal favorite. \u201cErlk\u00f6ning\u201d, which is a poem by Goethe and of which the opera version I had to study in highschool music classes. The tragedy in it intrigued me and so it is no surprise that this one jumped out to me as soon as I heard it. Now obviously it is a complete different experience as the version that caught my attention back then, over 20 years ago. KMFDM knows to bring the story in an elegant way that embraced their style but not gives off to the story, so compliments for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One other to highlight would be \u201cWW 2023\u201d as it is more relevant that ever. It gives people some food for thought and perhaps it’s directness is the most comforting of it as far as a track on this topic can be associated with that term.

Title track \u201cLet Go\u201d, which starts the album has a very danceable feel to it. And so we can conclude that there is a bit for everyone, a great collection of songs that showcase the variety that KMFDM can offer their listeners. A fan does not have to think twice to pick this one, but the open character of their sound makes this album a good buy for whoever likes to mix electronic elements with a dose of heaviness and directness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
