Polish Black Metal formation Profeci have been around since 2018. The band released their third full length album \u201cUb\u00f3stwo\u201d in 2023. It is available via Gods ov War Productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
The guys do not waste time, from the beginning on you get introduced to a overwhelming sound. Brutal vocals are of that sound being what it is. Vocalist Pio\u0142un really add his stamp to the music. But the whole does not stand without the support of the guitars, Pio\u0142un gets some help with that from Gustaw with whom he forms a strong duo. The two are complimenting eachother well and that is something you see returning more than once throughout the setlist.
The band surprises by having a sound that is familiar but not so much a copy of whatever you think it is. To give it a face of its own is not always a given so that surely speaks for the quality of these gentlemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the highlights of this release is the track \u201cG\u0142\u00f3d\u201d which is to be found halfway the album. It has a relatively calm start, to build up quickly to a passionate outbreak of words, which as a non-Polish speaker are not understood but give the feeling of great despair .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall we can say that Profeci gives us all the elements we like, the passionate power, the atmosphere, a proper tempo and variation in the songs. A splendid album to add to your Black Metal collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
