Morten Harket is the singer of the Norwegian band AHA who also has several solo albums released. \u201cLetter From Egypt\u201d is his fourth solo album. I don\u2019t really think I have to tell much more about him\u2026

\nThe album is touchy and thoughtful, very slow and romantic. \u201cSend Me An Angel\u201d is a little rockier than the others but still quite slow. Morten\u2019s vocals are soft and touchy, very charming and simpatico, a voice you can fall in love with. \u201cWe Will Never Speak Again\u201d is very slow and slightly melancholic. \u201cMovies\u201d has a great chorus and amazing vocal parts. Although this song is a cover it is the one that sounds the most like AHA. \u201cSlanted Floor\u201d includes only his voice and an acoustic guitar, really great. The last song \u201cThe One You Are\u201d slightly reminds of slow and late Johnny Cash.<\/p>\n

The album is great to chill out and you drift off into a world where you walk along the shores with your love on your side. A brilliant album for romantic evenings, for dreaming and also – as I said \u2013 for chilling out. There is not much more to say about it, simply amazing, emotional and touchy. A slow and calm CD for the evening after a stressful day. I love it.<\/p>\n\n\n
