\u00a0 Most bands struggle for many years in different line-ups, bands go under different
\n\u00a0 names and styles but for the four of them there has always been this one name
\n\u00a0 and one lifestyle, Dead By Gun. \u00a0 When DBG saw daylight for the first time in
\n\u00a0 2001 they knew what they were going to do. Following their own ideas and visions,
\n\u00a0 take shit from no one and just have some good times even though it was a simple
\n\u00a0 thing in a small shitty rehearsal room with cheap equipment. From that day on
\n\u00a0 they have done a lot of gigs, good ones and shit ones. A lot of songs has been
\n\u00a0 written, songs they still play and songs they forgot about in a week. But the
\n\u00a0 songs are all worth the same, its all good memories and Dead By Gun wouldn’t
\n\u00a0 take back one single thing. After all, you can’t get it all at once. Right?
\n\u00a0 After 5 years in may 2006 they signed a record deal at Hype Records. Being totally
\n\u00a0 outta control, faith and dedication finally paid off and their debut album hit
\n\u00a0 the stores early 2007.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 And this is my impression of their debut album “Big Waves”:<\/p>\n

\u00a0 As I put the album into my cd player and pressed play I totally didn’t expect
\n\u00a0 that: real Punk!!
\n\u00a0 It sounded like Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys, Mot\u00f6rhead, Psychopunch
\n\u00a0 and bands like that. The album is very powerful and some songs are slightly
\n\u00a0 aggressive (“welcome to the nightmare” for example) but other songs
\n\u00a0 are very passionate (e.g. “my blood”) but still not slow. I think
\n\u00a0 even the slowest song would be perfect to mosh. Basically it is pure punk far
\n\u00a0 away from the “Finland=goth-melancholic-rock” cliche and quite heavy.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The smoky voice of the singer and the distorted guitar riffs give the songs
\n\u00a0 a rebellious touch that makes you want to jump up and fight for your rights,
\n\u00a0 to speak out your deepest thoughts and don’t regret anything.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 I think they will shurely cause big waves simply because they are simply different
\n\u00a0 from every other Finish band.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 This is punk rock n roll and it never dies, doesn’t matter what people say
\n\u00a0 or how hard they try to kill it. So if you like that style of music then check
\n\u00a0 out this album!!!<\/p>\n
