\nStraight from the Italian sun, I found the latest album of Dream Steal, a symphonic powermetalband. The band is formed in 1999 and released three promo cd\u2019s before coming to the release of their first full length album called: \u201cYou\u201d.
\n<\/p>\n
The album starts with an instrumental intro. In the background you hear people speaking, like if you watch a movie which plays in a medieval village. The intro is followed up with \u201cThe Flight Of a Butterfly\u201d which is also on the album as a radio edition since this version takes 7.17 minutes.
\nA positive point of this band is that Dream Steel does not have a clich\u00e9 power metal vocalist. If you are not into the power metal genre this clich\u00e9 vocals usually bore you quickly. Dream Steel\u2019s vocalist Alessandro Antonelli has a voice which is more diverse.
\nAfter the second track we have a sort of second intro which last 40 seconds. After this one we continue with the title song \u201cYou\u201d. It\u2019s a typical love song but converted to a power metal song. Sweet as candy.
\nThe album is filled with emotions. Like the songs are taken out of a random persons life. The stories are all very recognizable and that might attract a lot of people.<\/p>\n
I like the album for it\u2019s originality in the genre. Dream Steel did break some clich\u00e9\u2019s about power metal and you can see they put a lot of effort in their songs.<\/p>\n
