The windows are scrolled down all the way; my left<br \/>\n\u00a0 arm is laying hanging out and my hand is tapping along with the beat\u2026. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 The perfect soundtrack to that scenery is the album \u201cSoul Politics\u201d<br \/>\n\u00a0 by Damn Seagulls. The album is filled with good mood music, gorgeously arranged.<br \/>\n\u00a0 A one-of-a-kind album with a special sound which is totally untypical for a<br \/>\n\u00a0 Finnish band.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Damn Seagulls is a band from Helsinki, Finland, formed in 1997. Because of<br \/>\n\u00a0 their special and unique sound they are quite successful all over Finland. Six<br \/>\n\u00a0 young boys rocking around the clock with their own style.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 This music differs from everything else because it has got this big band sound<br \/>\n\u00a0 with the saxophone, harmonica, trumpet, cello, viola, trombone\u2026 just to<br \/>\n\u00a0 name a few of all these instruments appearing on the album. Somehow it is reminding<br \/>\n\u00a0 me of the 60s, especially the song \u201cThe Beat\u201d reminds me of the typical<br \/>\n\u00a0 Grease time. The songs are perfect for parties and just great to dance to. The<br \/>\n\u00a0 catchy rhythms go straight through your brain into your muscles and make them<br \/>\n\u00a0 twitch. The arrangement of the different instruments makes no song sound like<br \/>\n\u00a0 another and the album does not get boring or lame at any time. The lyrics are<br \/>\n\u00a0 very authentic and everybody will be able to relate to one or another.<br \/>\n\u00a0 The booklet and the album itself is kept in the 60s style. The booklet looks<br \/>\n\u00a0 and even feels like a wallpaper.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Good mood music of its best, do I have to say anything more?<\/p>\n<table>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" hight=\"200\" width=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/www.levykauppax.fi\/cover\/normal\/1\/18\/18762.jpg\" \/><\/td>\n<td>\u00a0 1.
