\u00a0 Yes I know, the album is out for quite a while already, but I think this album
\n\u00a0 deserves a late review. And there are two more reasons why I am writing a review
\n\u00a0 about it:
\n\u00a0 1st: The single \u201cStop And Stare\u201d is out now!
\n\u00a0 2nd: \u201cApologize\u201d is still on air quite often and I hear the moderators
\n\u00a0 announce this song as being a Timbaland song only for too many times. Even though
\n\u00a0 he is executive producer of the album and did this remix, it is still the band
\n\u00a0 OneRepublic singing it. And there are still some people out there not knowing
\n\u00a0 that\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a0 OneRepublic is a band from Colorado\/USA. To those who do not know the full
\n\u00a0 story on OneRepublic, they may see a talented pop-rock group propelled to \u201covernight\u201d
\n\u00a0 success after being discovered by one of the world\u2019s most celebrated super-producers.
\n\u00a0 However, explaining away the success of this band as an overnight sensation
\n\u00a0 would be short-sighted and inaccurate. The story of the band\u2019s road to
\n\u00a0 success, and how that journey is expressed in the inspiring lyrical content
\n\u00a0 of this album, would be lost, as well. Facing opposition and disappointment,
\n\u00a0 OneRepublic has clung to its dreams \u2013 and that tenacity is finally paying
\n\u00a0 off.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The album title \u201cDreaming Out Loud\u201d describes the songs on the album
\n\u00a0 quite well. It is very emotional and thoughtful combined with a great vocalist.
\n\u00a0 \u201cMercy\u201d is very passionate and gets stuck in your head very easily,
\n\u00a0 the song has a somewhat tragic touch, but after you listened to it a couple
\n\u00a0 times you will see what I mean by that, a very captivating song, taking you
\n\u00a0 away more and more every time you listen to it. Just recently I saw the video
\n\u00a0 of the new single \u201cStop And Stare\u201d and was very surprised. I had goose
\n\u00a0 bumps while watching it: A very tragic and dramatic video, with deep lyrics
\n\u00a0 and a great melody with the guitar and vocals this is definitely my favorite
\n\u00a0 one on the album besides the original version of \u201cApologize\u201d. I love
\n\u00a0 the orchestra playing in the song \u201cApologize\u201d and the song also has
\n\u00a0 a great range for vocals. I really enjoy singing along to it and playing with
\n\u00a0 the voice, a really gorgeous song I am able to listen to 24\/7 without getting
\n\u00a0 tired of it, which is a quite rare effect nowadays. The cello on \u201cAll Fall
\n\u00a0 Down\u201d is just gorgeous and it has a great melody. The piano on \u201cTyrant\u201d
\n\u00a0 is quite outstanding and I guess you could say it is the fastest song on the
\n\u00a0 album.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 A gorgeous album and a gorgeous band, I hope to see them live some time!<\/p>\n\n\n
