\u00a0 It was one of the best if not the best Emergenza show I have ever been to. All
\n\u00a0 bands were really good and I didn\u2019t really feel very well knowing that
\n\u00a0 4 of them would not take part at the next round. They all would have deserved
\n\u00a0 it, but hey, that\u2019s the rules of Emergenza. <\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0The first band was a metal core band called Scream of the Abyss. Although they
\n\u00a0 were opener of the night and there weren\u2019t too many people in the beginning
\n\u00a0 the Nachtleben was filling up quickly and many people started rocking in front
\n\u00a0 of the stage. There were even some girls banging and almost moshing around.
\n\u00a0 The singer went down to the audience and performed there for a while as well.
\n\u00a0 There was a nice interaction between band and audience going on. Scream of the
\n\u00a0 Abyss did great as opener and warmed up the audience, so they really deserved
\n\u00a0 being fourth best of the night and the chance to enter the next round!!! A great
\n\u00a0 band even I voted for although I don\u2019t really like metal too much.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 The next band was Blash, an alternative rock band, a band with a somewhat unique
\n\u00a0 sound. Somehow it sounded mainstream, yet it not quite\u2026 really interesting.
\n\u00a0 The guys knew how to rock the stage and the audience; unfortunately they didn\u2019t
\n\u00a0 enter the next round though.

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Acoustic Pollution was the youngest band of the night but convinced with their
\n\u00a0 strong sound. Reminding of Nickleback and Puddle of Mudd this band was getting
\n\u00a0 the audience\u2019s votes with their great performance. Another great thing
\n\u00a0 the band did was the sitting mosh pit! Yes, you heard right, sitting! We all
\n\u00a0 had to sit on the floor for one song and mosh sitting. It worked out quite well,
\n\u00a0 was different from everything I have seen before and it was fun, which was most
\n\u00a0 important. Unfortunately they didn\u2019t enter the next round either, but they
\n\u00a0 were good, and if they keep on going I am sure we will see them around.

\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Now Alte Schule was up. A German rock band \u00e1 la Die \u00c4rzte. They
\n\u00a0 rocked the house in German and brought quite some fans and friends. The drummer
\n\u00a0 had an interesting hairstyle, blond hair but there was something brown in it.
\n\u00a0 Was it a symbol? A letter? I couldn\u2019t figure it out and didn\u2019t really
\n\u00a0 feel like asking either. The singer and guitar player reminded me of Caleb Hydra
\n\u00a0 or some styles of Matthau Mikojan (both are Finnish musicians). But that didn\u2019t
\n\u00a0 make me vote for them, it was their great sound and the ass-kicking performance
\n\u00a0 of them. Therefore they deserved the first place of the night.

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Project RSK brought many loud fans as well. Yeah, loud they were, very loud.
\n\u00a0 Project RSK is alternative rock. The band is in the exam phase right now, and
\n\u00a0 it seemed like they brought all their classmates. They rocked their 30 minutes
\n\u00a0 and their friends and fans, and even others out of the audience voted them second
\n\u00a0 of the night.

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Now The Twisted Strings were up. If I think back on that evening, I guess I
\n\u00a0 can say they were my favorites of the night. They acted quite professional on
\n\u00a0 stage, they were dressed up in checkers. The Twisted Strings knew how to interact
\n\u00a0 with audience and reminded a little bit of Billy Talent. The audience loved
\n\u00a0 them. For about a minute they played their one cover song, it was Backstreet
\n\u00a0 Boys\u2026 Somehow really everybody could sing along. Even the metal heads got
\n\u00a0 caught in the act. For their last song they handed out sparklers to everybody
\n\u00a0 in the audience. Very neat. Somehow they ended up \u201conly\u201d on third
\n\u00a0 place.

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Next band was up, it was Schaffrath. The singer was running around with a scythe
\n\u00a0 and reminded me of bands such as Schandmaul, Subway to Sally, etc. They had
\n\u00a0 a female guitar player. The venue was getting empty now though, because it was
\n\u00a0 a Sunday evening and many, if not all of us, had to get up early the next morning.

\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Last band of the night was Odium, a metal band that somehow reminded me of
\n\u00a0 Metallica. They rocked the stage and ended this night of Emergenza.\u00a0 Now I am looking forward to the next Emergenza.<\/p>\n
