\u00a0 After writing about their debut album I was quite excited to see them live.
\n\u00a0 Listening to the album gave me an idea of what they might sound live, but that
\n\u00a0 they are so great live, well, I didn\u2019t quite expect that. And as Captain
\n\u00a0 Poon (vocals and guitar) also apologized by saying the gig the day before had
\n\u00a0 been better I was really stunned: How could it be any better? No, they didn\u2019t
\n\u00a0 pay me for saying that, I really mean it!!! Did I mention who I am talking about
\n\u00a0 yet? No? Oh, sorry. I am talking about Bloodlights from Oslo\/Norway, of course. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 But they weren\u2019t the only ones to rock the stage that evening: Their opening
\n\u00a0 act was Slick\u2019s Kitchen from Germany. Four guys rocking the stage with
\n\u00a0 a dark and smoky voice. The audience enjoyed their performance. The singer had
\n\u00a0 some of his hair spiked up like devil\u2019s horns. They played a Mot\u00f6rhead
\n\u00a0 cover and had underwear hanging on their drum set. Slick\u2019s Kitchen were
\n\u00a0 good.<\/p>\n


\n\u00a0 \ufffd
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 After Slick\u2019s Kitchen Bloodlights were up, the venue was very crowded
\n\u00a0 by now, a quite mixed audience. Bloodlights is a Norwegian band who released
\n\u00a0 their debut album \u201cBloodlights\u201d on November 16th last year, a great
\n\u00a0 album which was rotating in my CD player quite many times. Now I finally got
\n\u00a0 to see them live and was amazed how great they were live. Everybody had his
\n\u00a0 name on his amp and the drummer on his drum set, a very nice idea. They played
\n\u00a0 most songs of the album, talked a lot with the audience and were totally friendly.
\n\u00a0 The very powerful and energetic performance was animating everybody to sing
\n\u00a0 and rock along. Many people could actually sing along. They played one totally
\n\u00a0 new song called \u201cDanger Zone\u201d and two cover songs including an encore
\n\u00a0 of two songs. I so can\u2019t wait to see them again.This is what they played:

\n\u00a0 Against the flow
\n\u00a0 New rose

\n\u00a0 Bloodlights
\n\u00a0 One eye open
\n\u00a0 Bald and outrageous<\/p>\n
