\nFrivolvol is an unknown band to me, the only thing I do know is that they are\u00a0from Finland. Their musical style is also not easy to describe. I would say\u00a0some sort of experimental screamo. The band reminded me of the Dutch band \u201cSan\u00a0Andreas\u201d, but it sounded if they had to practise a bit more. It all sounded\u00a0a bit raw as if some songs were not completely finished , and they just played\u00a0incomplete songs. Or maybe that is exactly their style, I do not know. The singer\u00a0decided to lay down on the ground for a while and did his own thing. If this\u00a0was what they are aiming for \u2013 do not count me in on their next gig. If\u00a0this was the beginning of the band, maybe they can develop into something I\u00a0would actually like to see again. But for now, I did not like it.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

\u00a0 For those who do not know Electric Eel Shock let me introduce them to you.
\n\u00a0 The band consist of three members Aki Morimoto (guitar and vocals), Kazuto Maekawa
\n\u00a0 (bass) and Tomoharu Ito or \u201cGian\u201d (drums). They come from Tokyo Japan
\n\u00a0 and play a mix of classic rock, punk and metal. Some good hard rock\/metal from
\n\u00a0 the days of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Kiss. Keep those bands in your head
\n\u00a0 and that is mainly what you get. They decided to leave Japan in 1999 and see
\n\u00a0 if there were other people out there in the world who would appreciate their
\n\u00a0 music. And they’ve been touring ever since.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Tonight when entering the stage I expected the drummer to enter wearing only
\n\u00a0 a sock on his private parts. I attended a show of them some months before. They
\n\u00a0 did however enter the stage with Black Sabbath’s song \u201cIron Man\u201d,
\n\u00a0 which immediately set the tone. Their own \u201cGian\u201d was not there. Instead
\n\u00a0 they brought an American guy named \u201cThomas\u201d to rock the drums. But
\n\u00a0 the sound of the band was still the same. Good pounding drumming and great guitar
\n\u00a0 solos mixed with a dozen fun on stage. Pointing at people, inviting them to
\n\u00a0 scream, and tell them little stories. Of course saying that Finland had the
\n\u00a0 most beautiful ladies, but I thought he said that about the Dutch girls as well.
\n\u00a0 Well maybe he is just a lady lover.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 At some points they were playing little pieces from well known songs from Black
\n\u00a0 Sabbath and Iron Maiden and of course the audience liked it. The atmosphere
\n\u00a0 was very good, and because it was not that crowded people had a lot of space
\n\u00a0 to move, jump or head-bang on to the music. Aki the singer was pointing at people
\n\u00a0 and calling them bastards, called Kazuto a bastard and in the end maybe himself
\n\u00a0 as well. Of course that was the intro to the song \u201cBastard\u201d. Other
\n\u00a0 songs the audience seemed to know were \u201cScream for Me\u201d and \u201cBig
\n\u00a0 Mistake\u201d. I kind of think that if you were not there but do like that 70s
\n\u00a0 metal rock you definitely missed out on a great band, because they are best
\n\u00a0 live on stage.<\/p>\n
