\u00a0 In the start of 2006 I was at a Dutch festival where I at randomly picked a
\n\u00a0 name from the program which I wanted to see. It was Animal Alpha from Norway
\n\u00a0 and when I saw them I was highly impressed by their show. I immediately bought
\n\u00a0 the debut album \u201cPheromones\u201d, which was released in 2005. Animal Alpha
\n\u00a0 have been touring a lot since that day and they played big festivals like Wacken,
\n\u00a0 Pukkelpop, Rock am Ring, Hulsfred and many more.
\n\u00a0 Last year it was all quite calm around Animal Alpha, but finally they released
\n\u00a0 a new album called: \u201cYou Pay for the Whole Seat, but You’ll Only Need the
\n\u00a0 Edge\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 Musically, Animal Alpha makes punk, with metal influences. What most stands
\n\u00a0 out is the extraordinary voice of their female singer Agnete. In this new release
\n\u00a0 they created perfection on their sound, compared to their debut album. The album
\n\u00a0 is complete. Great rhythms and fantastic vocals which made me shiver. Though,
\n\u00a0 this album was not love at first sight. The first time I listened to the album,
\n\u00a0 I tried to find a song which stands out, a personal favourite which I would
\n\u00a0 love to see as a single release. I could not find it and it bothered me. I have
\n\u00a0 been thinking why I could not find one or two favourites and I could not put
\n\u00a0 it away from me. The album did not get out of my head and I could not stop thinking
\n\u00a0 of it. I realised that all I could do is listening to the album some more and
\n\u00a0 I came to the conclusion: They are all potential singles. Top quality from Animal
\n\u00a0 Alpha!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 An interesting detail about this album which I have to share with you is that
\n\u00a0 the band is inspired by Radioheads \u201cpay what you want\u201d. They made
\n\u00a0 their own version of it though. You can pay whatever you want for the album,
\n\u00a0 but you have to do it to the band in person.
\n\u00a0 I won\u2019t make any suggestions on it, but I can say the music is worth to
\n\u00a0 be paid!<\/p>\n\n\n
