The story of his life and career<br \/>\n\u00a0 is quite interesting yet very emotional, so please read it yourself at his webpage<br \/>\n\u00a0 because I don\u2019t really feel like quoting it here or summarize it here.<br \/>\n\u00a0 Let\u2019s just say he\u2019s gone through a lot in his life.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Anyways, so here is his debut album \u201cOff White\u201d. I received it in<br \/>\n\u00a0 this neat portfolio held in black, quite casual yet classic in a way. A nice<br \/>\n\u00a0 picture of Silkky is covering the front of it, and as I opened it I found the<br \/>\n\u00a0 CD, a two-pages biography, a summary about the album including contacts, a business<br \/>\n\u00a0 card and, of course, the album. It already looked quite depressive and deep.<br \/>\n\u00a0 The cover and back of the album, as well as the inside and even the CD itself<br \/>\n\u00a0 shows grey leaves or something that looks similar to that with grayish-white<br \/>\n\u00a0 print on it. And a \u201cParental Advisory\u201d banner in the lower left corner<br \/>\n\u00a0 of the cover. As I started listening to the album it immediately reminded me<br \/>\n\u00a0 of Sexydeath. The album sounds quite industrial and mechanic. The second song<br \/>\n\u00a0 is very intoxicating with its distorted backing vocals. In the song \u201cNothing<br \/>\n\u00a0 Else\u201d a girl is singing the bridge, a melancholic song yet very powerful.<br \/>\n\u00a0 As I listened on to the album it also reminded me a little bit of Vanity Beach<br \/>\n\u00a0 and FAQ because of the way it sounds\u2026 I was drifting away into my own dream<br \/>\n\u00a0 world or rather into the deepest shadows and issues of my mind, not only because<br \/>\n\u00a0 the lyrics are about depression, personal demons and God, reflecting everything<br \/>\n\u00a0 that hurts and dark places people hide. The album \u201cOff White\u201d is everything<br \/>\n\u00a0 else than white in a metaphoric way. It is a very deep and personal album with<br \/>\n\u00a0 lots of emotions and fears.
