\u00a0 In times like these not many things are of continuous existence. Especially
\n\u00a0 for the music bizz 10 years is a rather long time. Many bands have come and
\n\u00a0 gone and most of them disappeared without being noticed. Thanks that there are
\n\u00a0 exceptions. Being one of them is Psychopunch from V\u00e4ster\u00e5s in Sweden.
\n\u00a0 The boys celebrate their 10th anniversary impressively by releasing their 7th
\n\u00a0 album “Moonlight City”. And just like they\u2019ve always done they
\n\u00a0 are again firing ten bullets of pure Punk’n’Roll into the listener’s head. After
\n\u00a0 moving into more diverse musical areas with the 2004 output “Smashed On
\n\u00a0 Arrival” they continued what they’ve started on “Kamikaze Love Reducer”
\n\u00a0 two years later. “Moonlight City” is produced by Pelle Saether who\u2019s
\n\u00a0 been dealing with the band for ages and is a long time friend. The limited first
\n\u00a0 edition comes with a bonus CD containing previously unreleased and rarely available
\n\u00a0 tracks. Psychopunch hail from V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, one of Sweden\u2019s major
\n\u00a0 industrial towns. The band started back in 1998 with members from various Punk,
\n\u00a0 Death Metal and Dirty Rock\u2019n\u2019roll bands.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The album is pure Punk\u2019n\u2019Roll witch catchy guitar riffs at its finest.
\n\u00a0 Speedy, loud and rebellious accompanied by a smoky and strong voice. This riot-like
\n\u00a0 music is great to shout along. The song \u201cOn my own\u201d has an outstanding
\n\u00a0 bass playing and nice lyrics. \u201cHere comes the rain\u201d is quite easy
\n\u00a0 to sing along with its catchy chorus and nice melody. A great show song for
\n\u00a0 everybody to sing, mosh and shout along could be \u201cNo one really knows\u201d.
\n\u00a0 \u201cIf you say so\u201d has outstanding backing vocals in a rather high pitch
\n\u00a0 compared to the normal tone of the vocals. It\u2019s a nice and melodic song,
\n\u00a0 which gets stuck in your head, just like \u201cIt hurts me more than I can say\u201d
\n\u00a0 does. Every song has nice lyrics and the album is just as energetic as the band
\n\u00a0 is live. Great album and I am looking forward to see the guys live again. A
\n\u00a0 tour in April is currently being booked to be an even bigger success than the
\n\u00a0 last one. Make sure to be there. So see you there and cheers!<\/p>\n\n\n
