So it<br \/>\n\u00a0 was for sure that I would attend this show: Bettie Ford unplugged at Dreik\u00f6nigskeller<br \/>\n\u00a0 in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Dreik\u00f6nigskeller is a little pub with a really tiny stage, so perfect<br \/>\n\u00a0 for an unplugged show. The pub was downstairs in the old part of Frankfurt.<br \/>\n\u00a0 On the right side of the stage it had something like an Hawaiian Elvis altar<br \/>\n\u00a0 and above the bar were old commercial signs for beer. On the right side of the<br \/>\n\u00a0 pub were chairs like you have in the movie theater and the tables that probably<br \/>\n\u00a0 stand around in the middle of the room usually, were set aside.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Bettie Ford is a German band from Cologne, founded in 1998, and these four<br \/>\n\u00a0 guys are rocking ever since. Right now Don (vocals, guitar) and Silver (guitar)<br \/>\n\u00a0 are on unplugged tour to show their fans and friends that they can&#8217;t only drink<br \/>\n\u00a0 and kick asses, but also be gentle and emotional. So half of the actual band<br \/>\n\u00a0 was sitting on this tiny stage with their acoustic guitars, a table in between<br \/>\n\u00a0 with their drinks, a set list and chords lists on it. The pub was packed and<br \/>\n\u00a0 everybody was curious how this band would sound like unplugged. Don and Silver<br \/>\n\u00a0 played several Bettie Ford songs, several general cover songs and told stories<br \/>\n\u00a0 about the band, their lives and special happenings in their lives. Well, mostly<br \/>\n\u00a0 Don was talking. The audience was impressed, laughed with the band, sang along,<br \/>\n\u00a0 clapped and whatever else you can do at an unplugged show to support the band.<br \/>\n\u00a0 It was a really familial atmosphere. The unplugged show was really nice, not<br \/>\n\u00a0 too fast nor too loud. Just soft and filled with the passion of these two musicians<br \/>\n\u00a0 onstage. Really great and perfect for this Christmas time of the year. They<br \/>\n\u00a0 played for about an hour plus an encore of two songs.
