\u00a0 After the release of the new album \u201eDreamin\u2019 in a Casket\u201c Hardcore
\n\u00a0 Superstar are now on \u201eMentally Damaged\u201c world tour for the next couple
\n\u00a0 months. So it happened that they also played at the Nachtleben in Frankfurt\/Germany.
\n\u00a0 It\u2019s been seven years since they played there. But Frankfurt hadn\u2019t
\n\u00a0 forgotten the Swedish band, the Nachtleben was crowded and even hours before
\n\u00a0 doors opened, many people were waiting outside. Downstairs the stage was already
\n\u00a0 set up with the drumsets of both bands and the banners of both. On each side
\n\u00a0 of the Hardcore Superstar drum set they had up banners with the cover of the
\n\u00a0 new album \u201cDreamin\u2019 in a Casket\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n
\nOpening act was Crashdiet, also from Sweden, but with a singer from Kuopio\/Finland.<\/p>\n

The band has a tragic history, because their original singer Dave Lepard passed\u00a0away in January 2006. But now they have Olliver and the sleaze rock crew from\u00a0Stockholm\/Sweden can continue conquering the world. And they do. They also have\u00a0just released a new album called \u201cThe Unattractive Revolution\u201d and\u00a0are now on tour with Hardcore Superstar. Somehow these four guys reminded me\u00a0of Hanoi Rocks, The Pleasures and The Ark because of their very glamorous style,\u00a0the tons of hairspray and the music. It is really great to see that this has\u00a0not died out completely, and hopefully never will. Crashdiet played for 30 minutes\u00a0\u00a0 only, but the audience in the more than crowded Nachtleben enjoyed it big time:\u00a0they sang and danced along, supported the Swedes and the Finn, cheered and applauded\u00a0that I almost forgot they weren\u2019t headlining. Almost all of the songs they\u00a0played were taken off the new album, only two were taken from their first album\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cRest in Sleaze\u201d.

\nNow Hardcore Superstar from Gothenburg\/Sweden were up. This band exists for\u00a0ten years now and they have just their sixth album released. It is always a\u00a0great show and lots of fun when they enter the stage. And so was it this time.
\nNot only had the audience gone wild, but also the band. Jocke (singer) was jumping\u00a0around and running up and down the stage and standing on the edge of it all\u00a0the time, so that if you stood in the first row, you definitely got in touch\u00a0with him or had to be careful not to get hit. Further did he always throw around\u00a0his microphone band so that Silver (guitar) and Martin (bass) had to watch their\u00a0step not to trip over it. The band interaction with the audience was quite familiar\u00a0at times and the audience did everything Hardcore Superstar asked for, no matter\u00a0what it was. Everybody could sing along to the songs they played and we all\u00a0had a blast. Most of the songs they played were taken from the latest album,\u00a0\u00a0 and most of the others were taken from the black album (the one with the black\u00a0cover and the hand holding the silver star).<\/p>\n

For one song Olliver, the singer of Crashdiet, joined Jocke at the vocals to
\nperform “Someone Get me A Doctor” by Van Halen and rocked the club.
\nI can\u2019t wait for both of them to be back.<\/p>\n
