\u00a0 I have just seen them live as support of Hardcore Superstar and somehow they
\n\u00a0 caught my attention that much that I just had to get the album now. So now I
\n\u00a0 have it in my hands: “The Unattractive Revolution”! \u00a0 I don’t think I really have to tell you much about the band itself anymore. They are from
\n\u00a0 Sweden, have one prior album called “Rest in Sleaze”, have their second
\n\u00a0 one just released on November 23rd and are on tour with Hardcore Superstar at
\n\u00a0 the moment. After the passing away of their first singer, a breaking up of the
\n\u00a0 band, the decision to reunite and find a new singer, finding a new singer (who
\n\u00a0 is originally from Finland) they are now back on track. Ready to rock the world
\n\u00a0 and they do, the band already convinced me of that during their show.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 And now and here is the album I am listening to right now, which I really like
\n\u00a0 a lot. The songs are strong and rock. They don’t sound as sleazy, glamorous
\n\u00a0 and colorful as the band’s appearance was on stage. But that is nice as well.
\n\u00a0 The songs “I Don’t Care” and “Alone” are both done in cooperation
\n\u00a0 with Mick Mars of M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce. I really like the song “Alone”
\n\u00a0 a lot because of the vocals, the arrangements and the emotions the song spreads.
\n\u00a0 “Falling Rain” is a very beautiful song because of its lyrics. Perfect
\n\u00a0 songs to get the listeners or audience go wild are “In the Raw”, “Die
\n\u00a0 Another Day” and “XTC Overdrive”.
\n\u00a0 While listening to this album you forget that it is written and released just
\n\u00a0 recently, you are more thinking or at least getting the impression of this album
\n\u00a0 being out of the 80s and the songs would all already be legends.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The album artwork is quite interesting as well. On the first couple of pages
\n\u00a0 the band gets introduced with pictures and descriptions of them as human amplifiers,
\n\u00a0 as well as promo pictures of them, their name and their postion in the band.
\n\u00a0 In the last couple of pages you can find the lyrics to the songs, and of course
\n\u00a0 the Thank Yous as well as all the other credits and web-addresses. On the back
\n\u00a0 of the booklet is a set list of the album. Another neat thing can be found once
\n\u00a0 you take out the CD of the album: underneath the CD you can find a picture of
\n\u00a0 the former singer Dave Leppard, with a sort of In Memoriam note next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n
