\nBurntfield is a Helsinki based formation making Melodic Rock. They released an EP called \u201cCold Heat\u201d last year, but return this year with a new single called: \u201cMy Grief\u201d. <\/p>\n

Some soothing piano introduces us to this song, a warm intro that sets the atmosphere, the band did not hold back on bringing these warm elements together as also some strings are coming in. The whole creates a certain tension that reminded me of Therapy?\u2019s \u201cDiane\u201d although the whole is perhaps emotional in a different way. The song self is easy listening. Catchy lyrics, that bring the story out there, underline the feeling that is created with the music. The melancholy suits well, \u201cMy Grief\u201d is a song that will address many, a common feeling, so many will find comfort in it.

All concluding, \u201cMy Grief\u201d is fine single for this Finnish band, it shows what the guys are up to and the confidential feeling it brings, a soothing touch even, will encourage people to keep an eye on these guys. Well done. <\/p>\n
