\u00a0 Pedestrian’s Motor is a side project from Jorma Korhonen and Antti Tuomivirta
\n\u00a0 from the Finnish band Sara and Ville Malja from Lapko. Jorma had some songs
\n\u00a0 that did not really fitted into Sara’s line of songs. But it would have been
\n\u00a0 a waste to just forget about them, finally they asked Ville to join them in
\n\u00a0 this project. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 This MCD \u201cIII\u201d is, as the name would suggest, the third part of a
\n\u00a0 trilogy. First and second were called \u201cI\u201d and \u201cII\u201d.
\n\u00a0 Maybe it is difficult when people from different bands join together to work
\n\u00a0 on something, what do they bring with them? On this trilogy you can hear the
\n\u00a0 influences from both bands. Ville has a remarkable voice which creates a big
\n\u00a0 part of the Lapko sound, which instantly reminds me of Lapko but Pedestrian’s
\n\u00a0 Motor knows how to create a style of their own with electronic influences and
\n\u00a0 beats. To me the music is really nice to listen to. They do not try to impress
\n\u00a0 the people with difficult riffs or creations but still together it is just beautiful,
\n\u00a0 a bit melancholic even though you have those eclectic beats.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u201cEmpty Headed Cowboys\u201d is the first song and the piano intro immediately
\n\u00a0 makes my mind empty. The song starts very relaxed and Ville begins singing and
\n\u00a0 when Jorma joins they sound really balanced together, while Ville and Jorma
\n\u00a0 sing both in a totally different way. Ville sings quite high and Jorma’s voice
\n\u00a0 can go deep.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The second song is \u201cNo White Horse\u201d, and you can hear some electric
\n\u00a0 sounds at the beginning of the track. It is the most up-tempo song of the album.
\n\u00a0 The drums at the beginning sound like an ancient tribe and is a real good intro
\n\u00a0 to the rest of the song. Might also be the most chaotic song where a lot happens,
\n\u00a0 but therefore you really need to listen more to this song, after these parts
\n\u00a0 they slow down a bit to burst out again.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u201cTreasure\u201d really honors its name. This is just a little treasure.
\n\u00a0 You hear an acoustic guitar with some eclectic sound and then Jorma’s voice.
\n\u00a0 Really pure, a bit raw to some extent. It really gives me the shivers when he
\n\u00a0 is singing that delicate. It really touches me like I can hear and feel his
\n\u00a0 emotions. Like he is using every bit of his feelings and adding emotion in the
\n\u00a0 way he is singing. Somewhere near the end Ville joins him singing… Really
\n\u00a0 a brilliant song!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 There is an electrical beginning on the song \u201cTen Seconds\u201d, and what
\n\u00a0 a pleasure that this song does not last only ten seconds. The beginning of this
\n\u00a0 song Jorma does remind me about ofSeal. Though I have not heard Seal in ages.
\n\u00a0 Yet again touchy but in a different way.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 This all sounds positive and it is, there is only one negative thing to say
\n\u00a0 about it and that is that you really want more after four songs.<\/p>\n\n\n
