\u00a0 So I was back in the Cave again, let\u2019s see if it will become home like
\n\u00a0 Virgin Oil in Helsinki did this August. Tonight was a rather strange line-up,
\n\u00a0 strange in the sense of non-fitting. After a chaotic but fun sound check the
\n\u00a0 first band began playing. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 Inversion is a German band from Frankfurt. You cannot really put them into
\n\u00a0 a genre. Not, because I don\u2019t like putting bands into genres, but because
\n\u00a0 they play punk, rock, jazz and everything. With a female vocalist sounding like
\n\u00a0 Guano Apes meets Amy Winehouse they rocked the still quite empty Cave for about
\n\u00a0 half an hour. She had a nice and strong voice, but I did not really watch the
\n\u00a0 gig because I was hanging at the bar with friends.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Up next was the local electro band Nurzery [Rhymes]. Nurzery [Rhymes] was started
\n\u00a0 back in 2000 and originally inspired by frontman Chris\u2019 foray into DJing.
\n\u00a0 Joined in live performances by Franco and Mario, N[R] began lighting up stages
\n\u00a0 locally around Frankfurt as well as across the European industrial music scene.
\n\u00a0 The name Nurzery [Rhymes] incites a juxtaposition of a childlike innocence and
\n\u00a0 sense of naive security with utter terror. So very harsh electronic music with
\n\u00a0 voice distortion, the complete opposite of what we have just heard, but it was
\n\u00a0 still a great performance. Just the red light was a little bit annoying for
\n\u00a0 taking pictures, but, I didn\u2019t care. And neither did the growing audience.
\n\u00a0 They danced and enjoyed the performance of Nurzery [Rhymes].<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 Last band of the night, and a complete different genre again, was Tragic Black
\n\u00a0 from Salt Lake City\/Utah\/USA. They play something like deathrock-punk combined
\n\u00a0 with some new wave and glam rock\u2026. Sounds weird, but it was interesting
\n\u00a0 and fun. The audience seemed completely replaced, now the Cave was full with
\n\u00a0 punky people with these cool mohawks and funky hairdos and cool outfits. I really
\n\u00a0 admire this style. I just can\u2019t get my hair like that or style like that,
\n\u00a0 it just doesn\u2019t look right on me. The audience was dancing and moshing
\n\u00a0 to the music. After a little more than an hour Tragic Black finished their performance.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0 <\/center>\u00a0 All in all a strange but really fun evening. And you see: The line up does
\n\u00a0 not always have to be one genre, it can be mixed like that as well.<\/p>\n
