\u00a0 The Electric Crayon Set. Typical music you listen on a dark, rainy Sunday afternoon.
\n\u00a0 You have to be in the mood for it. You can\u2019t just listen to it as a background
\n\u00a0 music, because then you miss all the essentials in the music. No, you have to
\n\u00a0 listen to it concentrated. Then you hear it. You hear what the music is about. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 Their music is quite psychadelic. Thinking of band to compare them with, many
\n\u00a0 names cross my mind, but still can\u2019t find the one(s) who would say it right.
\n\u00a0 The Who comes closest. When seeing the booklet, it obviously clear that at least
\n\u00a0 one of them like soccer a lot. On the cover you find a black and white art which
\n\u00a0 contains 2 players. West Ham United get thanks several times and on the pages
\n\u00a0 where the lyrics are, there are several images of footballs.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 If you hear the album, you know after a few songs what the concept is. Songs
\n\u00a0 sound like they are all connected with each other. Maybe you can see the album
\n\u00a0 as one complete song, cut in pieces. Songs which stand out most is the second
\n\u00a0 song on the album \u201cGood girl\u201d which is a song I would also hear on
\n\u00a0 the radio in the quiet hours. \u201cMorning of magicians\u201d is quite funny
\n\u00a0 when listening to the lyrics. It starts with telling that the singer loves the
\n\u00a0 sun, later on \u2026 he hates the sun and he end up with loving rain. \u201cAngels
\n\u00a0 of the mons\u201d stands out because there is a female vocalist in it. It is
\n\u00a0 a typical vocal you would hear on an Ayreon album. Actually, I am really curious
\n\u00a0 about this singer and the booklet learns me that it is done by Vilma P\u00e4\u00e4kk\u00f6
\n\u00a0 which has an own folk\/acoustic act. (see myspace listed at links).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Over all, this album is quite interesting to listen to. You have to set your
\n\u00a0 mind for it, but when you are open for it, you will like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
