\u00a0 Hellcity 13 is a band from Helsinki, Finland who just released their debut
\n\u00a0 album \u201cHellcity 13\u201d. Their music is gothic\/glam rock with a little
\n\u00a0 disco feeling in it. The album has some dark lyrics, but at the same time you
\n\u00a0 keep on swinging. Vocals are done by Mika and Susannah. In this genre it is
\n\u00a0 a refreshment to hear a female vocalist implementing her voice into the music
\n\u00a0 the way Susannah does. It gives the band a unique sound.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 On the fifth song of the album \u201cMasquerade\u201d Mika sings \u201cJust
\n\u00a0 take my hand and dance with me\u201d. This feeling is what comes with this album.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 As my favourite songs I can mention \u201cIn Your Eyes\u201d and \u201cIs
\n\u00a0 Anybody Out There\u201d which both start with some keys.
\n\u00a0 Recently they recorded a video of the first song \u201cIn Love With Love\u201d on the album.
\n\u00a0 (which you can see here<\/a>)
\n\u00a0 This is a perfect opener for the album, since it brings you immediatly in the\u00a0 right\u00a0mood\u00a0for listening to the rest.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Overall some songs are quite catchy but not in a way that they would be typical
\n\u00a0 one hit wonders. I am wondering how this band will do live. The cd is still
\n\u00a0 in my cd player and probably won\u2019t disappear in my archive very soon since
\n\u00a0 I enjoy listening it some more.<\/p>\n
