Beak> is a young act, formed in 2009 in Bristol, UK. They make triphop\/experimental music and they released their debut \u201cBeak>\u201d at 19 October via Invada Records.

\nTwo out of the trio are known previous projects. On stake we have Geoff Barrow who is known from his work with the band Portishead and Billy Fuller played with various bigger names. What the band wants everyone to know is the fact that they work with simplicity. A short note about that is written on the booklet. The songs on the album are not all accessible for the one a bit more than the other, probably for everyone there will be one to skip and to repeat. There is plenty of variety to find. Some moments sound conspicuously hollow where others are elaborated in deepness, while it is still raw and maladjusted. No fringe but pure music is their motto and it seem to work out quite well.<\/p>\n

The only problem that this album might have is that it drifts away a bit too far. Before you know, you forgot you were actually listen to it and right then you get another point where the music goes to the more intensive side and wakes you up from dreamland, but you might miss out of precious moments when allowing your brains to float. Keep holding your head to the music and then there is plenty to find in it.<\/p>\n\n\n
