Tonight we were at Das Bett. The location had moved in the past months and it was our first time in the new venue. Tonight we were there to see IAMX. The venue was very crowded with different kinds of people but all had one in common: being fans of IAMX.

\nIAMX is the solo musical project of Chris Corner. His influential music is primarily concerned with subjects such as sex, death, narcotic intoxication, bisexuality, decadence, religion, alienation and allusions to politics. Corner currently lives in Berlin, where he has found “the spirit to care less about the music industry and take an independent route.” As the band entered the stage everyone went wild. Singing and dancing along they all enjoyed the performance big time. Nobody stood still not even for a second. Chris Corner was in his own little world on stage but somehow he was sucking in everybody watching him. IAMX mostly played songs off the latest album but they also played some old favorites such as \u201cThe Alternative\u201d, \u201cPresident\u201d, \u201cKiss and Swallow\u201d, \u201cSailor\u201d and \u201cNightlife\u201d. The shows lasted for about an hour plus three songs encore. Chris talked little to the audience, but this he did in English and German. The audience totally loved the show. IAMX is a band you have to see live to love and once you saw them live you definitely love them. Unfortunately the light was way to dark and way too little to take any pictures.<\/p>\n
