Jeanette Lindstr\u00f6m is the jazz singer that prompted legendary producer Quincy Jones to voice the portentous words: \u201cAn old soul in a young singer\u201d. And also: \u201cShe really understands what jazz is all about!\u201d The year was 1995 and Jeanette Lindstr\u00f6m made her major breakthrough \u2013 on a broad front. She is first and foremost a jazz singer, but at the same time has never been opposed to stepping outside of the borders of jazz. The calendar tells us it\u2019s now a different year, and Jeanette Lindstr\u00f6m is no longer a very promising newcomer but one of the most established jazz singers in Sweden.<\/p>\n

This album is jazzy with the gorgeous voice of Jeanette Lindstr\u00f6m. Powerful and strong yet very touchy it gets you deep. The music is slow and emotional. \u201cMorning\u201d and \u201cRiver\u201d also include a male back-up singer and additional vocalist. This album contains a lot of emotions. The lyrics are extremely deep and emotional as well. It will not leave you unimpressed. There is a lot of piano on the album. The melodies are catchy but not in a mainstream easy going way but more in an artistic way. It is quite impossible to compare this artwork named “Attitude and Orbit Control” to anything. Jeanette Lindstr\u00f6m knows what good music is supposed to sound like and how to create it. I am impressed and hope to hear a lot more about her soon.<\/p>\n\n\n
