Sub-Division is an anglo-french formation from Toulouse (France) with a unique musical flavour: electro-rock tinged with a variety of influences ranging from the French Coldwave rock of the 1980\u2019s to today\u2019s cyber-electro, with a touch of gothic rock and industrial metal. They have been existing for about ten years now. Their latest release is called \u201cTen Years Before The Dream\u201d.

\nThe album is \u2013 as said before \u2013 industrial rock, but the vocals somehow sound very dull and anemic whereas the music itself sounds good. Female and male vocals alternate throughout the album. Sometimes the vocals are distorted just the way it is common for industrial music. The songs vary between being rock and more electronic.
\nSub-Division is compared to KMFDM and Nine Inch Nails, and yes, you can find analogies in some melodies and tracks. But I would not say it sounds like them. Sub-Division has its own style. Unfortunately I can\u2019t find anything catchy or thriving on this album but the album is very suitable if you simply need music for filling a silence. And for fans of this genre this album will be great as well.<\/p>\n\n\n
