Pestilential Shadows is coming from Australia and to the describtion making \u2018Anti-Human Plague Black Metal\u2019. Their latest release called: \u201cIn Memorian, Ill Omen\u201d.

\nThe third album of Pestilential Shadows sees light and is the first one on Pulverised records. The band formed in 2003.
\n\u201cIn Memorian, Ill Omen\u201d is not an album that would top my list in Black Metal releases this year, as if there is a strong competition this year. Reasons for this is, that the sound of it is thin. It could have been more diverse, the band sticks to their instruments without too much decoration around it. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but perhaps they could have chosen for some more complexity. That this record does not make a top 10 impression on me does not mean it is a bad album, there are plenty of positive things to mention as well. Take the bass, which got an interesting part in the music here. In the moments that atmosphere come more forward than ever before on this records, the last song called: \u201cBathed In Ashes\u201d, the guitars show that they really do have it in them to attract my attention. Too bad this climax is coming a bit late, because it is not before the last song that you get hungry for more.<\/p>\n
