\u00a0 PostScriptum had their live debut in 2005 at By:Larm, Scandinavia’s largest
\n\u00a0 club festival. Their two shows were no less than amazing, and brought the band
\n\u00a0 plenty of attention. They recorded the EP “pre post” and released
\n\u00a0 it on their own label Post Recordings. By late summer of 2005, the single “One
\n\u00a0 Day” had achieved significant play-time on both radio and TV, and “pre
\n\u00a0 post” entered the Norwegian hit lists.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 PostScriptum played several live festivals, including Norway’s biggest summer
\n\u00a0 festival, Quart. At Hell Music Festival, they even had the honour of joining
\n\u00a0 guitar legend Steve Morse (Deep Purple) on stage.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 At the beginning of 2006, the songs “One Day” and “Your Eyes”
\n\u00a0 were picked up by radios all across Europe. The leading German music website
\n\u00a0 MyOwnMusic.de elected “Your Eyes” as “Hit des Tages”, resulting
\n\u00a0 in even better radio rotations and the opportunity for an EP release on the
\n\u00a0 German market. During 2006, their songs spread and achieved high rotation in
\n\u00a0 world leading indie radio stations like XND Radio, Radio X FM and MoozikooRadio.
\n\u00a0 In Germany, the EP was a success. PostScriptum’s future seems bright, as the
\n\u00a0 band said goodbye to 2006 by topping both the highlights- and expectations lists
\n\u00a0 of the German underground music scene!<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0Back home in Norway, 2007 started off with every indie band’s dream: for the
\n\u00a0 “Spellemann 2006”, the Norwegian Grammy Comittee wanted the best unsigned
\n\u00a0 Norwegian band for a live TV performance at the Grammies. PostScriptum was just
\n\u00a0 what they were looking for, and their performance confirmed the buzz already
\n\u00a0 surrounding the band.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 I know of this band for about a year now, and I really liked them from the
\n\u00a0 beginning. Now, that their album Prophet:Deny is released, I just had to get
\n\u00a0 the CD. So I was really excited as I finally had it. And here is my impression
\n\u00a0 of the album:<\/p>\n

GORGEOUS!! A MUST-HAVE.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 And here the review for everybody who didn\u2019t run off to buy the album
\n\u00a0 right away:
\n\u00a0 PostScriptum is from Norway, so I guess you\u2019d expect something melancholic
\n\u00a0 and dark. And yes, the album is melancholic and dark in a way, but not depressive,
\n\u00a0 no, it more spreads the feeling of being satisfied, complete and happy. Really
\n\u00a0 nice. The lyrics are deep and not always happy, but the melodies and music all
\n\u00a0 in all gives you that feeling. Petter (the singer) has a gorgeous voice, singing
\n\u00a0 high and low, you could easily fall in love with.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 The first song of the album \u201cGarbage man\u201d reminds a little bit of
\n\u00a0 Phillip Boa with its style. The album continues with \u201cThis is dynamite\u201d,
\n\u00a0 which gets stuck in your head, and it\u2019s real dynamite for parties and the
\n\u00a0 dancefloor as well as your heart. Next is \u201cEast of Egypt\u201d is a slow
\n\u00a0 song and the ballad on the album, a perfect song for an acoustic set and\/or
\n\u00a0 cold nights. A beautiful love song.
\n\u00a0 \u201cWhen you leave me\u201d starts out quite powerful and is another song
\n\u00a0 that gets stuck in your head, this song reminds a little bit of Chris Isaak
\n\u00a0 and the old stuff of The Cure.
\n\u00a0 \u201cSounds of home\u201d is a very nice and thoughtful song, as well as \u201cOne
\n\u00a0 day\u201d, which is also a very optimistic one.
\n\u00a0 \u201cDeparture\u201d, a song which is also featured on the latest Sonic Seducer
\n\u00a0 sampler, reminds of A-HA. A song perfect for walks along the shore in the late
\n\u00a0 autumn sun, romantic and slow.
\n\u00a0 The last song \u201cwhere did my love go\u201d reminds of A-HA again.
\n\u00a0 A gorgeous album that I can recommend to everybody.<\/p>\n
