:Wumpscut: is an electro-industrial music project from Germany. It was founded in May 1991 by Bavarian disc jockey Rudolf “Rudy” Ratzinger. Almost twenty-five years and tons of releases later, they have now released their nineteenth full length studio album. Yes, nineteenth! along with many other EPs and compilations they sure have been busy.
The latest release is called “Blutspuker Tavern” and is coming with ten tracks. Filled with samples of movies and such, the album creates dark atmospheres. Mainly creepy and horrific, but sometimes also funny. Some samples are in English, most are in German though. The lyrics are in English and German as well. With a dark voice the songs come crawling up your spine to your ear, sneaking up to you from the shadows, this album might cause some goosebumps. The songs get you to tap along and hum. “Blutspuker Tavern” is a very interesting album and a must listen for horror fans. The songs are not so much for the dance floor but a stormy night will do perfectly well too. :Wumpscut: will definitely not disappoint their fans with “Blutspuker Tavern”. So get this brand new release now and listen closely. Don’t forget to keep a light on afterwards.
