The extraordinary thing about singer-pianist Digna Janssen and multi-instrumentalist Johan Smeets is that they manage to balance between deep emotion and an energetic live performance, creating a special blend between singer/songwriter, folk and pop. The two of them formed a band and called it Jodymoon.

They have now released a new album which is called “The Life You Never Planned On” in the rest of Europe. This is their fourth studio album. “The Life You Never Planned On” has been released in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg in 2012 already. Coming with thirteen tracks this album brings folk music back into your living room. With a banjo and a beautiful voice Jodymoon lets you lose grip of the worries of the day, lean back and drift off into their world. The lyrics are very thoughtful.
