Rogga Johansson is one of the artists that runs for the record of releasing albums, and therefore you’ll find several of his projects to be reviewed in Tempelores before. Ribspreader is the next project with a release we get to listen to. It is called: “The Van Murders”.
Basically Ribspreader comes with a natural strong basis as you may expect. What comes quite upfront are the vocals by Rogga. They come in quite pervasive. Obviously there are some strong riffs to follow these vocals, but maybe the most remarkable thing to mention about this album is the fact that there is an story attached. The story of two murderers. Whether you would be able to pick up this from the lyrics if they are not supplied is to question, but it is something new to name of Ribspreader. Furthermore this release is just bestly described as: the next one in line of the band’s discography. The structure of the songs, the filth and everything else you have heard in the previous three releases comes back in this one and so come that you don’t really have to hesitate and simply put “The Van Murders” on your to buy list.
