PREVIEW: Tuska 2023

What: Tuska Open Air Metal Festival

Now the pandemic is far behind us it is time to get the summer started and what is better than doing that at the lovely Helsinki? RIGHT! Doing that at Tuska! Just take a Metro (for example from Kamppi shopping center or the Central Station) and get off at Redi shoppingcenter. There will be plenty of other metalheads which will lead you into the right direction as it is only a few hundred meters from there. And since the weather will be very nice it is also possible to walk there from the city center. It’s about 3 km. Just don’t bother to come by car, you can’t park it anyway. There is no public parking space.

Just as every year, you can take an empty bottle to fill with water for free at the festival area. There will be water fountains.

Since Tuska is still in the city center, there is no camping near the festival. But since it is close to the Metro anyway, you can take a metro to RASTILA. There is a camping there. More convenient is to book any of the various hotels that the city supplies.
There are also various after parties announced so keep those in consideration while booking your hotel, they are in the city center and not at the festival area.
