The Amity Affliction is an Australian metalcore band from Gympie, Queensland, formed in 2003. The band’s current line-up consists of Ahren Stringer (bass, keyboards, clean vocals), Joel Birch (lead vocals), Dan Brown (guitar) and Joe Longobardi (drums), with the addition of Bradley Christian (vocals, assisted on previous tracks) for creativity and vocals. The Amity Affliction has released six studio albums. This is their brand new album with the title “Everyone Loves You Once You Leave Them”.
The brand new album comes with eleven songs. The Amity Affliction is known to talk about depressions, suicide, bipolar disorder and such. And this is also what they are talking about on their brand new album. You can feel the heaviness of the topics in the arrangements as well as the vocals. The thriving rhythms are pushing you through the album. The choruses will get you going along for sure. Shouted vocals are taking turns with sung vocals which add so much heart to the breaking souls. Each song is majestic and can easily speak for itself.
This is an album to get lost in. One to turn up the volume on and just sink into the shattering and loud arrangements, the heavy drums and the shouted vocals. So let “Everyone Loves You Once You Leave Them” surround you entirely and press play on this amazing new release of The Amity Affliction.
