Beyond Our Sight – The Void Within

Beyond Our Sight is a Belgian Thrash formation that is still quite young. Only last year a first single saw light but now they are coming with an EP. It is called “The Void Within”  and is available now.

The EP starts with “Mindless Impulses” a song that tells you right away what these guys are up to. Two vocalists, a brutal approach and a quite heavy touch to the overall sound.  No time goes to waste in bringing some vehemence to the listener. Yet the guys have also a catchier side. Listen to “Wasteland” where the melodics are bit more in the foreground and you have some more sing along oomph due to the cleaner vocals.
Title track “The Void Within” brings you back to the feeling you started with, a song with a high tempo and the brutality that suits the guys best.

Good to see the guys bring some variance in their EP. It shows some experimenting and a band that is looking for their sound. Looks to us that that is more found to the more brutal side of their sound, that is where they make the most impression. Looking forward to hear a full length album from these guys at some point.
