Fettes Brot is a German hip hop group that was formed in 1992. The band took the name from a fan who called them “Fettes Brot” after an early gig, which was probably meant as a compliment, but the members considered it so bizarre that they took it as the name for their new group. Fettes Brot’s longevity has meant that they are sometimes referred to as “Hamburg’s hip-hop-dinosaurs” by the group members. Now, they have released a book, called “Was Wollen Wissen”, which is related to their Radio show in which the band answers random questions the listeners ask.

The book is a page turner. Not because the story is so interesting that you cannot let go, but because the questions and especially the answers are so hilarious, you cannot get enough of it. In “Was Wollen Wissen” you can find the strangest questions that get the most creative answers. Some are plain funny, some answers – as far off they might be – are clever. This is a book you can read all by yourself, or with others. It can even be an inspiration for whatever you choose it to be.

Fettes Brot have always been somewhat innovative and out of the ordinary. They seem to always know how to answer any question with their quick-wittedness. Now, this book is written proof of it.
