BossHoss is a band from Berlin which started in 2004 with Country & Western style cover versions of famous pop, rock and hip hop songs, for example “Hot in Herre” by Nelly, “Toxic” by Britney Spears and “Hey Ya!” by Outkast. They incorporate stereotypical American cowboy behavior into their act. They wear stetson hats, tank tops, large sunglasses, display whiskey bottles, and yell yeehaw. The band refers to their music style as “Country Trash Punk Rock.
After four albums The BossHoss have now released “Low Voltage”, a best off album. “Low Voltage” also comes in a deluxe edition with a Live DVD. This album is packed with the best songs of The BossHoss. Country and western arranged in a modern way, The BossHoss spreads a good mood with their music. Catchy and very melodic songs keep you going. Even though this is just a CD you can hear how much fun the guys have by making this music. Most songs you know already from previous albums. You can also find a cover on this album: “I Say A Little Prayer”. The album includes live pictures that let you guess how amazing the band must be live. Saddle your horse to rock with them.
