Nox Interna – A Minor Road

Three songs only, not too much to get to know them, but just a bit of a teaser of what one can expect. Catchy Gothrock songs, The 69 Eyes meats SaraLee. ‘We Are The New Generation’ they sing, something that might be quite through. Every generation has their own heroes and although The 69 Eyes and OOMPH are ones that last for quite some years around, the years are ticking on and for a young group of fans in this genre these guys know how to appeal. Only halfway a song you can expect what will be the rest. Not unique no, but oh so catchy. You know the lyrics before you heard them and the melodies are brought with enough heaviness to give this band the energy it needs. Maybe three songs are not a lot to judge, but one thing one can hear easily and that is that these guys are giving energetic shows, which many dedicated fans will adore and remember long time.

The new generation, they could surely be right about that. Must be said that for many of bands in this generation the fans are to grow and develop their music taste in diverse directions, so the guys should keep in mind that they have to keep getting the attentions of their audience longer than just for a while, are they going to give us enough variation for that? Well, that is what a full length and some years may tell us. Let’s see.
