Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band that formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, composed of Simon Neil (guitar, lead vocals), James Johnston (bass, vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums, vocals). Currently signed to 14th Floor Records, they have released seven studio albums, four of which (Puzzle, Only Revolutions, Opposites and Ellipsis) reached the top five in the UK Albums Chart, with their sixth studio album, “Opposites” claiming their first UK number-one album. Now Biffy Clyro has released a brand new live album recorded at a special show: MTV Unplugged.
This release “MTV Unplugged: Live at Roundhouse London” comes with fifteen songs. Each one of them played with acoustic instruments only, of course. You can hear the audience singing along to the songs and cheering loudly. The singer talks to them in between the songs, telling them that they only picked songs for this show, that mean a lot to the band. So on this “MTV Unplugged” album you can find the best of the best Biffy Clyro has to offer. The acoustic arrangements cause even the fastest song to touch your heart and give it a deep emotional touch. You feel like you were part of this show while listening to this album.
MTV is not dead, especially not their format MTV Unplugged. And here is yet another great artist that mastered this format: Biffy Clyro and their album “MTV Unplugged: Live at Roundhouse London” is waiting for you to be loved and listened to as often as possible. Enjoy.
