Rising Resistance – Primetime Riot

Rising Resistance is a punkrock formation that formed in 2015. They have their base in Germany and are currently releasing “Primetime Riot” which is their first full length.

The band is perhaps a bit young and did not play around too long). You can hear that in their way of bringing the songs. Somewhat simplistic, not renewing it too much. “60’s Revolution” they call for you, but the revolution in their music is not too much around. Variationwise there is not much that you have not heard before either. Yet, they guys have a certain eagerness that speaks for them and saves the release. The eagerness you hear in them is catchy, you do want to keep an eye on them and see what comes from them a few years down the road.

Ok, so this release may not be on the top of our list but it is clear the guys need some time to develop as a band and find their own identity a bit more. To show their own face and what they want to say, and not just what suits the genre, would be a great asset for them. Time will tell what the guys are going to do next.
