Irish formation The Gloaming makes contemporary music. They have released two albums so far and now they are releasing a live album. It came out early March of this year.

The band has been quite succeful, winning quite some prizes. However, the music is best seen live. Now this can’t happen every day, so the guys came with this live release. You can feel the vibe come alive from the comfort of your own sofa!
What makes this release enjoyable is that you can see the playfulness in the band. The way they enjoy playing live is what radiates through the music and when it is brought skillfully like they do than it is a bonus for the listener to have this album playing.

Whether it is the intense “Cucanandy” or the cheeky “The Rolling Wave” the guys are giving you a diverse view of their music, the songs have been chosen wisely. It all fits together but there is a wide range of what they do to be heard. The album will entertain you well.

A pleasant release and also a good introduction if you have not seen them live yet. It will certainly make you buy a ticket when they are around!
