Thundermother – Thundermother

[schema type=”review” name=”Thundermother – Thundermother” description=”Label: Despotz Records” author=”Sabine van Gameren” pubdate=”2018-02-23″ ]Swedish rockers Thundermother are back with a new line up and a new album alfter a great part of their bandmembers left last year. The selftitled release is the band’s third full length release.

The band is back and they are ready to give out that message. Looking at the songtitles they are full of positive energy and ready to give all a go. Sure, it is always a bit of a question what to expect as the majority of the band changes, so you could see it as a whole new one. The ladies that got together now have got a strong idea of what they should bring. Their music sounds confident and skilled enough. Not really something all new, but a confidential sound of Hard Rock that has been brought to you with flair. The single “We Fight For Rock N Roll” sets the tone, but in the rest of the album you hear them going beyond that. A ballad is included, “Fire In The Rain” is one that shows a bit of a different side of the ladies.

With enough variation in the tracklist they created an album that listens easily and is the ideal soundtrack for your roadtrip to the summerfestival of your likings. And sure you hope these ladies are there as well. Good one!
